“ So this place looks like nothing from the main street (Reynosa - Monterrey Highway 2). The ample parking lot is hidden in the back. It's open for breakfast. When I was there it was rather crowded. Prices are reasonable - I had breakfast of eggs, beans and ham for 90 pesos. Prices go up to 250 pesos for other items, which includes lunch and dinner. This was summer 2021 for those counting. The food was pretty good and about the most Mexican I have been to in Reynosa. Of course this is Mexico, but lots of places have more American stuff or maybe tacos - everything in the menu was real Mexican rather then the Americanized Mexican you see in USA. The ambience was a little loud - the interior is brick and wood and the sound resonates fairly well. When I was there there was a tape in the background playing instrumental music. Lighting is somewhat dark. The wait staff was more attentive then usual, and you will never have an empty cup of coffee. Anyway, it was a good place especially for real Mexican food if you are into that. ”
